    Koo Sunglasses? Stick with Oakley’s or give them a chance?


    Hard not to see the the Koo glasses everywhere at the Tour on the on the faces of Red Bull-BORA Hansgrohe in 2024. With that said has anyone owned a pair and if so what did you think? I have ridden Oakley's, Smith, Spy (if you remember them), 100% and Ryder – for those Canadians looking for a shout out.

    Having recently subscribed to 20 new amazing YouTube channels I am now being bombarded with new brands and videos and existing adventures which are being added to my bucklet list (see feed here) and big shout out to everyone who submitted channels.

    So what do you think?

      I’ve got Koo. They – like all other expensive sunglasses – are nice.

      Mine are the clear purple ones. Sweet finishes. I’ve got a big nose so the adjustable bridge is great. Fit well, easy to clean, nice colors.

      That being said I’ve had them for a year so I’m bored of them and might get some Sun Gods.

      This is the first I’m hearing about them – they have that D2C look and branding, with legacy brand pricing… interesting

      I have the Koo Supernova. Really like them.
      Saving up for the photocromic lens

      The koo demos, which I have, and the spectros are much better than these. I love mine and have had them for 3 years.

      Thing that bugs me about Koo is that they don’t seem to mesh well with any helmets – even their own?? You’d think a helmet brand would make at least one pair made for their existing products.

      I’ve got the demos and love em. I’ve ridden with tifosi, smith, roka and goodr, and like the koo best (well, I do love goodr for the price point / replaceability). Have even gotten compliments on them from the other nerds in the group ride, lol.

      i have the demos,spectro,and alibi and the the alibi are my favorite by far they definitely upgraded the material on the alibi and hype from the demos and spectro it’s durable and super lightweight. haven’t had the chance to get the hype yet but they look great.
