I'm currently contemplating buying a road bikes. Budget is 2k EUR. My current bike is a Giant Roam 1 size M which should be 56 in road bike size.
Things I looked out for were:
- aluminum frame with carbon forks
- disc brakes
- at least Shimano 105 or it's SRAM equivalent (I don't mind mechanical shifters but would spend extra for electronical in case it's worth it)
There are also things I don't know much about like wheelset and tyres.
These are the ones I'm currently looking at:
Canyon Endurance 7 Raw: https://www.canyon.com/en-si/road-bikes/endurance-bikes/endurace/al/endurace-7-raw/3705.html?dwvar_3705_pv_rahmenfarbe=R074_P06&dwvar_3705_pv_rahmengroesse=M
- 1750 EUR, Shimano 105
Radon R1 105: https://www.bike-discount.de/en/radon-r1-105-1
- 1400 EUR, Shimano 105
- cons: limited tire clearance 28mm
Radon R1 Rival AXS: https://www.bike-discount.de/en/radon-r1-rival-axs
- 1600 EUR, SRAM Rival eTap AXS
- pros: electrical shifter
- cons: limited tire clearance 28mm
Cube Attain SLX: https://www.bike-discount.de/en/cube-attain-slx-cotton-n-grey
- 1400 EUR, Shimano 105
I would be happy to hear your thoughts, experience in case you own one of these bikes or recommendations to similar ones that might fit with the constraints.

I have the Attain SLX and I love it, but before going for it I was highly considering going for Canyon but it would end up way more expensive for me.
I’ve also seen the Radons and sent them to a couple of friends.
Realistically the Canyon has better wheels and saddle compared to the Cube. I think at some point I will inevitably upgrade the wheels on mine.
I do like the looks on the Cube and it just looks cleaner. The particular color I got, the green, is absolutely gorgeous.
The problem with the Radons, as you identified, is tire clearance. I’d exclude solely based on that. The Canyon allows for 35mm while the Cube allows 32mm by spec, potentially a bit more.
I think it’s hard to go wrong with any of those you posted.
