I'm trying to add new grips I bought to my 2023 C-Line. Taking off the rubber ones was easy enough but for some reason I can't work out how to do this.
They are tightened on fine, but neither the ring at the end, nor the cap, stay on even when fully tightened. Help!

They look like they are not pushed on far enough
You need to move the brake/shifter further in towards the centre
The ring end should go in first. I believe.
It looks like the locking ring is completely past the handlebar end. There’s nothing for the ring or cap to grip.
You need to move the brake levers inboard. Stock grips overhang past the end of the bar so to fit lockon grips you need to move the levers inboard to accommodate for this.
