I recently got a canyon grizl 6 1by and I’m thinking of getting a bike trainer. Though it looks like it needs to be direct drive and they are muuuch more expensive. Most of what I’m seeing in Canada is $500+ 🫨 are they worth the money?

Bike trainers are for the winter, so you’ve got a minute up there in Canadia. I have a pair of Saris Fluid 2 smart trainers but they will blow tires after 300+ hard km. I install indoor training rubber, the orange ones from Saris. Works great. It’s not great for rotating your bike indoors and out throughout the season.
