Oliveira might sleep bad if he rewatches the images. When you lose with such a tight margin you see the potential minor time losses everywhere. I mean, he stopped pedaling a few meters before crossing the line for instance, who knows how much it cost him
3.4 km?! Is it track cycling?
What exactly is the idea behind a 3,4km prologue? Even the Tour de France has removed this concept, and its 21 stages long – this is just 5 stages.
Nice but we would like to see more than 5 seconds of the winner on the course.
A tt that takes less than 5:00 is a waste of resources. Even a prologue. Just when I think the sport of cycling can't be more of a clown show, there is this.

3.4 km is a very good length. If you are 4 y.o.
I feel I could ride 3km at 40km/h as well…what a waste of resources for that distance for the teams…

I know its a prologue, but WTF ! Under 5 mins. Whats the point, an awful amount of work. Is there a family fun ride or feast to go along with it ? Am i missing something ?

When it takes longer to put on your cycling clothes than actually race the prologue. This must have been an organiser´s idea coming from a very drunk meeting.
Why are all these newbies crying over the short distance. This was a great prologue!
Really great race to watch. A very specific type of riders who could benefit from it. Very sharp decision by managers to make about who'd race. They had to know exact numbers specific riders could sustain even with elevation. So typical track background cyclists wouldn't necessarily win due to elevation and his weight. Chessplay really.
