I’m 31 years old and this is my first bike in about 15 years. I had a Haro F2 back in the day and was decent so I thought I’d get another Haro and this complete Haro Downtown looks nice. But unfortunately I just read some comments on Facebook from someone who purchased one and everyone was saying it’s 💩 I’m a novice at bmx and can’t do a bunny hop and 180• which is what I’ll be trying to do on this. Just wanted a new hobby for the summer as sick of video games 🤣

Meant to say I can do a bunny hop and 180 lol
You’ll find a lot different group of people on here vs Facebook lol. I wish I could delete my Facebook but my wife won’t let me 🤣
It’s a good starter bike and as long as the geometry fits you it’ll be fine for learning. It’s still light years better than what we all started with back in the 90s (dyno, mongoose, Royce union crap) lol
But I will always say try to find the cheapest complete with a full chromoly frame that fits your size and you can upgrade it and keep riding it as you see fit vs a hi-ten mix frame you will either outgrow or break and have to spend more in the future.
If you’re happy with it and it gets you riding, then it’s awesome.
Haro’s aren’t what they once were regarding quality. I don’t see anyone riding them anymore. It’s high ten steel, as well as a tad on the shorter side in regards to TT size, which isn’t ideal, but no sweat, just upgrade the frame later. And I like the way this looks.
You will like the bike. I loved mine and it held up great & I put it thru everything, mine was white as well, it got stolen last fall, I’d get another one in a heartbeat
Just get what calls out to you. Ignore peoples opinions.
The best bike is one you’ll ride….
How tall and how heavy are you?
This bike is aimed at young kids.
the Haro Dana is full chromo. I think it’s a better option
