I don’t see the problem. I’m also old enough to own bikes in the 90s…

That’s almost the exact color of the bike I rode in college. Gt crossover triple triangle. Skinny knobby tires, drop bars, I think 3×7

Badass taste. These are the things we’re supposed to do. Now ream, face, chase, build, ride!

  4. That is both horrible and wonderful. Not my style but well executed! You need to match it with one of those ridiculous 80s spandex helmet panties with the same pattern and some aqua colored tights.

    Good work.

    Totally rad.

The first bike shop I worked at, I rode in on my late ’80s celeste Bianchi with campy derailleurs, red Bullseye pulleys, original Look pedals, and pink Benotto handlebar tape. I was wearing a John Tomac Bell helmet. I got hazed, but I was like “If you don’t know a classic bike when you see one I can’t help you.” lol I never felt in the least self conscious because my bike was cooler by miles than anything they had.

Oh my god!! When I was a kid (in the 90s) my dad let me paint my bike and I totally painted it just like that! (More likely I thought it looked that good but I was just a kid lol)

  8. Whoo Whee! 1993 wants it’s splatter paint back! 😉

    Seriously, it looks nice.
