Hey Marc, is there a brake on that board? Looks like a great way to get through the busy cities. Also, did you already have experience in skateboarding (regular board) or is it something a novice could easily learn without breaking a hip?
I don't know Monaco well outside of the current track but is there no detours they can take that could introduce an overtaking spot and then rejoin the track before the tunnel?
Nice work make ! Great video – that drive through London was similar to a drive through Monaco
2008 Monaco was a close one between Kimi and Lewis till as usual yours Truly Ferrari had an amazing strategy to screw Kimi – Lewis had an easy win after that – upto that point both of them were a class act
Did you check out the mclaren code masters video of Senna 1988 lap of Monaco
Will Ferrari ever let Kimi win ?
And can we expect Another contract seeing his performance ?
Hi Marc, how do you react to Gregg Maffei's statement regarding F1's purpose being to sell "glamour and parties?" In a similar vein, what do you think of the driver complaints regarding not having input on the 2019 regulation changes? I understand if you can't comment because of your professional obligations, but I'm interested to hear what you have to say on the subject.
Been watching your blogs from the 2nd one, keep them coming. Please please stop making the skateboarding look easy & so cool, it’s making me want to buy one! 😂
Re. Your electric skateboard and legal use: as a cyclist it is illegal, though people do it, to cycle on the pavement as a bicycle is legally a vehicle; how is an electric skateboard legally defined, and are there some legal limits to where you can "drive" it?
One stopper should be easy no? Even if the deg on the hypers is very high, they are obliged to run two compounds in the race, so surely the harder one they choose will be able to do a long stint.
And since you can't overtake, the pace does not really matter, I think.
Hi Marc, Another great vid despite the battery issues. Nice footage of you in London…you are brave to ride on the streets, probably faster than a car or the tube though..maybe I need to grow a bigger pair..or just wear a cone of shame!😁 I do hope McLaren's update starts to show some pace at Monaco, it's been a tough number of years for the team and they NEED a decent result soon. Do you think Vandoorne is under pressure?..he's not comparing as well to Alonso as JB did.
Marc, love your podcasts and have devoured them all as soon as I found them and watch new ones as soon as they go live. I have a quite a few questions for you however this video I am compelled to request that your brain bucket, aka helmet, is not so wobbly on your head. It freaks me out seeing that wobbly thing 🙂
So who does your sky job when you don't? And no, the video made very little sense! Which is as good a reason as to why we watch as any! Lol. Ever thought of streaming you on your sofa with a mate watching the Monaco gp and commenting with a beer, as we all do? We'd all watch that!
@Marc Priestley….. some one posted this 1962 high quality color footage of the Monaco Grand prix, which is visually stunning. https://youtu.be/sCv-dIFGcd0
Love your vlogs BUT please fix the straps on your sk8 helmet!!! Slide the clip until the straps form a v around your ear but not touching the ear. This will help keep it on your head when you need it. Thanks.
With how old and traditional the Monaco Grand Prix is sometimes people don't want to come out in public and say how boring the actual race is. That's what i've experience the last few times i've watched it. How could the FIA has a race where passing is virtually impossible and do nothing about it. By now you thought they would have widened the track and make improvements, but nope they haven't. Thankfully my Uncles had me watching F1 since i was close to 6 years old + or -. Visiting the city during the race seems glamorous and I would like to visit it someday for the scenes on race weekend, but i'm not a big fan of the actual race, so when i miss the race i'm not usually upset about it. I am somewhat hardcore with the F1 races so i usually end up watching every single race of the year. If i had to miss one race of the year though, Monaco would be it.
Mark, Ferrari this year with longer wheel base losing out on slow tracks but has done enough to stay ahead of Mercedes, but in faster circuits has they done enough, I guess they're the fastest in straights but in fast corners? For example in Silverstone and monza they struggled last year, way do u think this year do they put up a fight there??
Hi Marc, just wondering how often you get close too or actually getting knocked off your skateboard when you're zooming around in London? Lovely scenery as well. Cheers.

Great video! Hope this GP will be different to what we expect from the Monaco circuit. Btw, Why are fp1 and fp2 on thursday?
One small thing, isn’t p1/p2 today in Monaco? That’s what Reddit made me believe.

Hypersofts lasting 77 laps and the whole race is a little stupid. Turns a boring race into an even more boring one. Qually should be fun though!

Hello Marc, not trying to be pedantic, but practice in Monaco is on Thursday, not Friday.

So was that your skateboard when Johnny went for a race track walk in Baku?
VLogging on a train!!! What, are you insane??? You'll wreck it…
