Just found a hardrock a couple days ago, I think about the same year and size as this in pile of trash bikes on the street near my parent’s house… now it’s in my parents garage lol, it is almost mint beautiful paint, but with brand new lookin’ origin 8 cantis, even the chain is in good shape, only issue is the freewheel or cassette wouldn’t engage the wheel, but didn’t have my tools there to troubleshoot

Unpopular opinion: the rest of this bike isn’t really all that special and could probably be “sacrificed” as a token to your wife unless it’s got sentimental value to you. How many else are in your stable?
