Yeah I just got this email too. I thought it was US tariff related but it seems from the wording to be everywhere “at all points of purchase.” But not sure. Would make sense as a US-only increase.

It looks like they’re taking the Sony approach and spreading the pain globally. The American market is one of the largest in the world so I can understand why they don’t want to effectively abandon it.

I’m riding my Brompton and comforting it to let it know that this may pass someday. Meanwhile, I have two hoarding boxes of pre-tariff freakout parts and supplies. Unfortunately, I wasn’t wrong to do that.

This is very unfortunate to hear. I too received this email earlier in the morning. You absolutely know they won’t lower the prices after all this is said and done. The higher prices will be here to stay no matter how much the tariffs go back down. 🫠🥺
