I’ve been looking to upgrade from an old dinky mountain bike that’s on its last legs. I’ve been wanting to get a hybrid as it seems like it will fit the area I commonly am biking well. This small Vita Elite is going for $250 and is in good condition. Does this seem like a decent buy?
Also: I’m 5’3” and quite small. Most of my biking is leisure, rarely over 10 miles 🙂

Specialized makes good bikes though I have to wonder how old this bike is. It’s got old school cantilever brakes. I thought disk brakes were the standard these days. Shouldn’t be a problem except in wet weather. People got by just fine in the 90s with them so it’s probably ok just watch out if it gets wet.
