I’d ride via Aachen and take the Vennbahn to Luxembourg instead of only going through Belgium

Can’t see from the map but you’re maybe following the alpe adria bike route so missing Slovenia. If so i’d recommend deviating along the bike route over the border at ratece and eastwards. It’s beautiful. I’d also suggest keeping further north in Italy, depending how much you can tolerate climbing, the dolomites are stunning.
