A beautiful way to start of a week of big miles, I wasn’t a fan of the headwind but changing direction into the tailwind made it all worth it! Featuring Nigel to the rescue with a jacket, a top of the hill dance and some post-ride food chat.

So grateful that Escapar have invited me to stay to help me with my TDF training – https://www.escapar.cc

  1. Great video Amy
You deserve all what you've worked for, well done and thankyou for sharing these video's. And for what it's worth you're a lovely looking young lady and Kyle must be very proud of you ❤

  2. You never have to justify the success you’ve earned❤. Your videos really show the areas and rides, and your own story is a true inspiration. It’s a highlight when they pop up on the feed, and I’m looking forward to your TDF challenge 👍👍

  3. Great video amy it looks like a great experience and its always interesting to hear you speak, and what you are doing is very inspirational and lets be real life is exactly what you make it and it can end anytime we dont know we just assume we will be here tomorrow so you have to live everyday
And i wouldnt worry about how you look you are gorgeous

  4. Amy I've commented this before but you're beautiful inside & out and more than deserving of everything that's come your way. I had terrible acne when I was your age and you'll soon grow out of it, promise. And my focus is on you and not your spots (as you call them). Much love from The Great State of Texas. 🙂

  5. Amy; Thank you for taking me on your ride today and thank you for giving us three yippies!
It was so nice to see that big beautiful smile back on your face today! 2 nuggets for thought today 1) instead of asking why me and do I deserve this, ask why not me because you do deserve every good moment. 2) you know something, we all have spots:-)
Lastly, I’m still catching up on some of your older posts but please keep up with the running videos too:-) I enjoy every moment:-) R-

  6. I'll have a glass of whatever you're on….. Your spirit and general energy is fantastic. I'm super envious of what you've built that allows you to ride full-time from what I can gather……. Love it.

Drink it all in, as you say, "You only live once".

PS: I toured the Irish coastline twice …. I met headwinds going over the Glenveagh National Park that I couldn't even PUSH my bike against let alone pedal and ride the thing…… (The Atlantic takes no prisoners and thankfully I was rescued by a couple of tradesmean who threw my bike in the back of the van and got me down off the exposed heights). I also spent a day in the worst rain I've ever encountered (I'm mid 50's)…. It came in sideways and was BRUTAL between Burtonport and Donegal Town …….. It was JULY FFS 🤣

  7. 12:10 This is actually the best way to record yourself on video when on the side of the road. You are facing traffic and can see the cars approaching. It is very common for Youtubers to record themselves on the side of the road, with their backs to the traffic. When talking to the camera, one can easily be distracted and not see the oncoming traffic of cyclists or even cars that may be in the shoulder. As a full time Youtuber, your exposure to accidents is now much greater because your time on the road has gone up. It is important to be mindful of your safety, especially on your long rides. Another excellent video and that place looks very nice for a cycling holiday!

  8. i have a "sachel" by dakine . is very useful, i use it similar for tools and the odd kendal mint cake. it has aphone pocket and i can stick a bike bottle either side.

  9. What a stunning ride, shame about the wind and rain but Nigel came to your rescue with the jacket👍I had a windy ride also but not as bad as you had, just 67 miles with 4600ft of climbing so you win this time Amy😉No rain in Scotland though😁

  10. Hi, don't let anything or anyone get you down ,from where I'm standing yr one hell of a woman and a super strong cyclist. You deserve all this cos you've worked hard for it , enjoy, enjoy, enjoy . We all think yr amazing, love everything you do ❤

  11. David is definitely a spinner. I’m getting tired just looking at him. I tried picking up my cadence but I get more tired moving my legs so fast vs. pushing more power.

  12. you're a good person, don't worry about what people think and enjoy all these moments, you deserve it. congratulations for this nice outing.

  13. Just watched you latest spain adventure. You can pinch yourself and wonder how you have this as your new job, but you have worked for what you have, you have achieved this with your honesty and fun personality, you help so many people with your views and advice on life keep up the good work and well done you living your dream ❤

  14. Now, at least you're getting some good experience with that wind! You're killing it. So impressed with your determination

  15. Beautiful views and well done for sticking at it. The wind looks ferocious but will be a great training tool, and you're stamina looks great.

Why you had the blip. Difficult. Mist people like the familiar a d you are stepping off into the unknown. And testing yourself. That might also be part of it. But you have a massive support group sending you their best wishes and you are ticking off the achievements. The heat is what
worries me. Going to be tough to train for.

Cake looked good at the end

  16. We enjoy watching your channel and seeing all the amazing improvements you are making with cycling and your life. I’m looking forward to your TDF journey. You may have covered this but I am wondering about your after ride regiment. I see that the pros spend time on a trainer after the race along with using leg compression and massage to help with their recovery. Will you be able to take advantage of this type of cool down and conditioning to help with recovery from the day? Be safe and enjoy the experience! That goes for Kyle too!
