It looks like a rock got stuck in between the frame and tire. Does this look like paint damage only or does the carbon look affected? When I press on it, it feels solid with no give.
Does look like a serious chip but just that, a paint chip. Still get a shop to take a look at it IMO. Good luck brother 🔥🤘🏼

I would think (not a carbon expert, just a bike mechanic) that yes it’s likely been affected a bit judging by how the carbon layers look uneven. You can see and feel it better than us, how’s the texture?
Also, it happened on the bb shell from the looks of it, probably one of the most reinforced and beefy areas of most frames carbon or not. I wouldn’t sweat it unless you’re the paranoid type, in which case take it to a carbon professional.

That’s paint damage. I would cover it with a matching nail polish so the carbon isn’t exposed.
