This roundabout below Rothwell Road is awful. 8/10 drivers do not stick to their lane essentially forcing you over or having to sit behind the driver.
That’s a very easy spiral roundabout, try going on ones where there are 3, 4 or 5 lanes on the approach to the roundabout, I’ve been on Thurmaston roundabout, Wanlip roundabout, Hobbyhorse roundabout and the big spiral roundabout near to Fosse Park but they’re all very easy, they all have road signs and road markings telling you what lane you need to be in for your exit.
She nailed it!
These are a goddamn nightmare when the paint wears away but they're incredibly easy otherwise
🤣🤣 shes actually hilarious in this video. Kuwait Chantal could send a glass eye to sleep 😴
Not her just scraping the rims at the end
England is full of these shitty junctions and roundabouts
I use that roundabout often, and I think you've chosen the most awkward/tricky approach and exit of all in this video 😬
Paint's awful. Welcome to Kettering.
Another dangerous roundabout in Kettering. I got hit by a nurse who was rushing to get to work between the 2nd and third exit
I dread this specific roundabout on my lessons ! 😢 thanks for sharing. 😊🎉
I feel starting the student with "this is terrible and scary" is not helpful.let them try, and it it's bad then pull over and reassure them with the things you said, but don't set that up pulling into the junction.
From one instructor to another: fabulous work
The view from a truck cab would be better .
Obviously, I would work out my junctions first , and if in doubt, position myself over 2 lanes and hope they have some direction signs on exits.
But those road markings are the reason any robot would stand still working out where it is and where it wants to go- not too dissimilar to current human sat nav drivers.
😅
The way the lane splits into two with lane markings in top of each other is unacceptably poor. With the spiral here, the lanes continue to the left. If you want to keep going right you lane switch every 1/4th of the roundabout. That's much better.
From Northfield Ave going up towards the hospital. Good lane change.
Jesus those lanes are baffling
If you have to take the wheel it was too soon to be out there.
i hate Kettering
What a TERRIBLE driving instructor!!
Yeh I do this roundabout wrong everytime I go round it tbh
Just wondering.. Are you this?

Omg what's a spiral roundabout 😮
I pray she never gets that round about on her test. 🙏🏽
I do always #%€$# curse that particular roundabout in kettering , maybe they should make that island smaller so they would fit decent lanes up there
I use to hate that roundabout when I was on my lessons and still do and yes the paint really needs to be touched up same as all the pot holes good old Northants council 😅
I basically do this roundabout at least once a day, but I still struggle!
2nd exit is usually outside lane but then I saw the markings
Nice explanation great video thank you 🎉
My local roundabout 😂 been sideways round there many times good fun when it’s wet
I can’t find a scenario when you are on the right lane cause every lane on the left is bus lane so you’re always on the right I’m still confused
