  1. Have not seen one round about ? Columbus circle is a type of round about . There arebike lanes in NYC, I remember when they desgined them (9th Ave,&th Ave, 2nd AVe,1st, specifically. The problem is that bicyclist will do whatever they want. We also have Bus lanes. With the amount of traffic it does not really work too well. Perhaps Congestion Pricing is the answer. Driving in NYC is too expensive, even if there was no Congestion prcing. People drive, but cannot afford to park. The best are subways, and Long Island, Jersey Transit, and Hudson Lines. If more people left the cars at home the better the city would be, and the more pedestrain friendly. He only knows of one Park? Bryant Park in the middle of midtown 42 6th Avenue, There is WAshingtown Square Park, Riverside Park, Tompkin Square Park, and a few in Harlem. They made a whole bike path, and park on the West side Highway. This man does not know much about NYC. Take a trip outside of the limited NYC view you have. Flushing Medow Park, will host the US Open again. It's a huge park. There are more as well in Queens. Kissina Park, cunningham Park, golfing. SMH , this man know very little.

  2. I can tell you that there are not walkable cities in the US. It is designed for cars. My family and I visisted the US. We went for a walk in the small city I used to go to when I was a child. Some streets we couldn't walk down as we would either be on someone's property or walking on the road. We ended up turning around and walking back to our hotel. It was disheartening, especially my children as we are us to walking a lot.

The amount of people staring at us like we were crazy for walking was quite uncomfortable.

  3. Are you homesick for the UK yet? When I went back to SoCal for a visit, I just wanted to come back home to Worcestershire wherr the countryside os so pretty.

Now in Herefordshire and love it even more. I need the peace away from 'Murica

  4. Been cycling in London for over 40 years… the new cycling routes established since the 7/7 bombings actually disable competent cyclists. All cyclists in London are now wrapped up in cotton wool if you use them. I'm so glad it's still a choice whether to use them or not as the cycle lanes never get swept clean and punctures are a big problem. Also I'm glad I can keep up with the 20mph speed limit and keep safe moving along with traffic. I'm also glad we have this new system tempting new and nervous cyclists to take to the saddle. We are still a long way from the infrastructure that Holland has.

  5. I still think there should be a law about industrial and work buildings requiring to have a certain percentage of green covering the building. Not only would it look better but also reduce the smog and carbon footprint of cities

  6. It would be interesting to know your line of business. The sciences of human behaviour or something similar.
And could you explain why we are one of the few countries who drive on the LEFT when you folks stateside decided to do the opposite.
I'm sure we were first 🤔
