No. It’s not glued in. It’s held in place with friction.
Like the fork steerer tube plug. Don’t glue it in. It’s a screw in The top rotates and the little ring underneath it tensions it. Should be 4 pieces all together.
*Edit – make sure you turn it the correct way and make sure the lower portion it screws into is still attached.
