New build in collaboration with my LBS in Nashville, Green Fleet Bikes.
Originally planned as a bikepacking build with the chunkiest tires that would fit. I spent a week in Pittsburgh riding my brother’s Spacehorse, and loved how fast his bike felt. I don’t ride fast, but the new bike feels fast like his did.
The dudes at my local bike shop have awesome personal bikes, and I figured they would know what I was going for. I picked out the specific parts that I knew I wanted and then let them go nuts with the rest. I picked some parts out with my brother as well.
I think they nailed it, and it’s cool to have a LBS with dudes that were happy to help with a build like this. Thanks to Sig, Steven and Austin!
All of the parts on the bike came from a local bike shops in Nashville and Pittsburgh. It feels cool to end up with a bike pieced together by a bunch of different people that like cool bikes.
