okay so i've ridden a topload all my bmx life and i recently found a frontload for really cheap so i got it just to try and it turns out its the best thing i ever did to my bike but then i realized the front plate snapped(2nd pic) from me tightening it hard so i put the plate on from my sunday topload
i torqued it down pretty tight and everything seems secure but i've never seen anyone do this so i just wanna ask just i case

Totally fine. The stem doesn’t know what plate is on it. As long as the bolts sit square in the front plate then it’ll be good to go.
