I am 5,6(still growing) and I want to buy a trail frame soon for my build.
I want to buy second hand and I have narrowed it down to these frames.
If none of them are good for me,I could carry on waiting until a good frame goes on the market but if these frame are good then Mabye I will buy.
Anyway the first is an S&M black magic which seems like my favourite one but I am worried 21.5 would be too big for me.£350
Second is a Sunday conductor which I know not much about.
Third is a Sunday scout frame 21.25 and 14cs. It is from 2012 and was spray painted orange.
Fourth is a 20.5 S&M ccr frame which I am worried will be too small for me.
What do you guys think?
My budget is about £350 max
Thanks

I want that Black Magic frame for the local trails. I’m 5’10 and would buy that one.
If you’re still growing and you like stability then the extra half inch won’t really matter as much, IMO.
We’ve been here before, for your height the ccr jnr is a solid choice. The black magic is too long for you
I have a Credence and an ATF. Both 21 and both amazing imho.
I’m 6’ and I wouldn’t ride a 21.5 and I pretty much only ride trails. The ccr is your ticket. You can get a longer top load stem and taller bars as you grow for a while to keep the frame but realistically it will last you a while. I ride a credence MOD.
Depending on your style, growth potential, & budget you can get away with a longer frame by offsetting it with taller bars in a top load stem and shorter cranks. I maxed out at 5’7 and ride a 21” with a top load stem and 175mm cranks. None of those are too big or too small to ride. I started riding trails on short and steep park frames. It made learning a lot of tricks easier. Then I got a 21” once I kinda came into my own and started riding bigger stuff and realized that I wanted something a little bigger for bigger airs and floating 3’s and 3 cans/x ups. While I liked the park frames I had & learned a lot on them, I really progressed faster on the more mellow & longer trail frames I got just because I was more comfortable on them.
