  1. The groupset and the wheels probably cost that much retail. If the frame fits and you like the bike, is it worth that much to you? How much does a comparable new bike cost?

    To an extent, a bike is worth what you’re willing to pay for it. Especially given its size, that seems like a good deal to me.

    I’d save up a bit more and buy new…peace of mind from the warranty and getting the proper fitting can go a long way imo

    Otherwise, try for $2000

    large sizes are less expensive on second hand because there are few buyers then….

  4. Yes, it’s a great deal provided that it is in good condition and hasn’t been crashed. It’s got high end components on it and getting a new one would probably be twice as much.

    I’d still want to see the common wear areas such as the shifters, chainstays and rear derailleur up close to judge the condition.
