I had a slow flat last weekend on my tubeless road tires. It was mixed wet and dry conditions and it seemed to be sealing while riding so I didn't stop, but it would start to seep when the tire got wet until I had a very wet section and it started to spew. I stopped and called it a day, even though after waiting for a while not riding it was holding about 30 psi. I have a patch kit for the inside of the tire that I will probably apply either way but wondering what others would normally do.

Always patch anything big enough to see. Tubeless sealant is mostly just to finish your ride. Especially with higher pressures found in narrow tires, you will always get a slow leak.
Be sure to very thoroughly clean the area you apply the patch to. Scuff up the area with coarse sandpaper too, as the inside of most tires are quite smooth from the factory.

mushroom plug patch, patch from the inside, used a 6mm one for a glass cut and it has worked perfectly
I have a dynaplug that pokes into that hole and helps plug up the hole to continue riding at a higher PSI. I also have a small TPU tube that I can throw in there if the sealant and dynaplug doesn’t work.
