Hi, it's my first time using reddit. I just wanted to ask for advice for the trip that my girlfriend and me are starting the 5th of may. We are starting at prague and going to athens, avoiding the mediterranean sea (because we had visited that zone before). We are spending 2 months on the route (considering staiyng more than one day in the places that we find interesting) and the idea is to the following route: Prague-Viena-Bratislava-Hungary Serbia- North Macedonia or Bulgary and enter to greece in Salonica. Im just asking for advice in the case if you know zones that are in conflict or zones that are better to avoid. Thank you very much.

Think it might fit better in r/bicycletouring .
What do you mean by zones in conflict or better to avoid? We’re talking Central and SE Europe, not Donbas or Gaza.
What kind of places do you find interesting? Cities, nature…? Maybe you could include Balaton when you’re already near it?
Hi i am on a super similar route right now i started in germany but i went through prague and bratislava as well. i was a little bit afraid of the conflict zones i know what you mean especially serbia and kosovo but i am in pristina kosovo right now and went through serbia before that. i don’t recommend you skipping kosovo its such a nice country and crazy cheap. if you have any specific questions don’t hold back hitting me up🙏
