Starbucks, Brompton folded, raining outside. Doggy backpack (waiting for her to finish her grooming appointment.) I put a rain cover on the Brooks before I went outside.
It's incredible to fold and take the Brompton inside—complete freedom from theft. I'm so excited to ride anywhere now without the dreaded lock and worry. Yay!

For me that’s exactly the magic of the Brompton… cycling in amongst civilisation without the hassle/stress of bike security! Love it
added note, but seriously do consider getting it insured even if you’re not locking it up. Other things could happen like accidents and it is possible someone could grab the bike from you if they know what a good bike is.
I use Sunday’s insurance . They offer for brand new bikes, a new swap out for one that has been stolen or damaged. You’re still required to get an approved lock but you can use it for something else.
