looks fine to me, you can always put a mantle patch on the inside, then you don’t have to check up on it.

  2. Not really, because the tire is held together by the canvas and not by the rubber.

I would absolutely continue using that tire, but would fill the tear with super glue. The idea is that then it won’t pick up debris that could cause new punctures.

I got lots of this on my gp5000 and all of them holds up pretty well. No sign of worsen

  4. Add some rubber glue, or rubber cement or whatever they call it on your native language.

You can put parktool patch on the inside, just in case to add a bit of support.

Anyway, it will be probably fine even if you don’t do anything. But just in case…

Tires don’t stretch like tubes do. So save for a *very,* **very,** very unlikely scenario that something gets into the exact same spot, it will not get bigger or tear open.
I’d patch it from the inside and use rubber cement to penetrate that cut.

Not at all. Ride on. You could put a drop of glue in it but personally I never bother

Had the same on conti ultra sport by glass shard on the 1st ride (fresh tyre attracts glass like magnet). Kept using them no issue. The glass just picked through the internal fabric didn’t cut it.

In general poking damage is acceptable but examine internaly how much damage is taken. If fabric is cut ie 3-4mm area is weakened and then inner tube might protrude

For peace of mind keep that tyre on the rear wheel.99,9% it will be ok and make it’s full mileage.

  8. Completely normal have several of these on both tires. I cant remember not seeing similar cracks on a road tire with a few thousand km.
