  1. This is the 1990 (I think) Kästle Randonnee my mom rode when I was a child. Was built up as a standard issue German touring bike with butterfly bars, rear rack and horrible plastic mudguards – unfortunately I forgot to take a before picture.

    I rebuilt it from the frame up. Derore/LX drivetrain mix, Magura hydraulic rim brakes, full dynamo lighting, Racktime TopIt rack (not the prettiest, but I love the snap-on functionality, also have a giant basket I can switch to for grocery runs). My favorite part is the [Abus Sportflex](https://www.abus.com/de/Privat/Fahrradschloesser/Spezialsicherungen/SportFlex-2504) lock I put on the seat tube, very convenient option if you’re in a low-crime area.
