Hey guys wondering if I could take out one more link and still have enough slack forward to get the wheel off without breaking the chain? Wheel is straight but the axle is setting close to the end of the dropouts which I can’t say I like to much…

That thing is just like my bike .I remove one link and now its too short ,i put the link back and ride my bike with loose chain now. You can try removing one link and the axle might be perfectly slammed in the dropout or just too short just like what happened to mine.
Looks really close!! You could measure it. Measure your gap, and if it’s longer than the gap between two pins on your chain, you should be fine.
