Been cleaning chains since I restarted cycling 37 years ago and I honestly can't say which method is better. Mountain biking wears chains very fast when mud is the lubricant and road cycling wears them faster when you live in a place where a third of any ride can be on gritty tracks. I expect riders in warm dry countries with clean dry tarmac have the cleanest chains.

Just use diesel trust me
Less than a sec worth more than this bottle
Chain proceeded to rust over time
or just buy another one for 10 bucks
My chain îs black💀
I put too much lithium grease on it
Or just use wax. It's brilliant.
Does this actually improve anything or is it just aesthetic?
Buy a damn ultrasonic cleaner for a chain and cassette, it’s gonna save you hell of a time and energy.
Nice trick! Those new shimano chains never come out as shiny as would how for. I like a good bright nickel coated chain

I have to say
Real downhillers let it crust
Drink it
Hope you didn’t just squirt that cleaning solution on to nature
Make sure your clean your chain in the middle of your ride
Since you take it off, just replace it …
Stupid video
Wipe loose dirt off, move forward with life. Most riders will NEVER have a chain fail due to dirt.
Been doing this for yrs and using Kitchen degreaser ( Elbow Grease) and boiled water , sod all that fancy shite that they charge you a fortune for .
Ideas like this is why i dont throw old stuff away
I used oil it came out clean as the day got it I had to dispose of the oil afterwards 🤔
How to waste degreaser and a perfectly good water bottle.
Use white spirit.
Much cheaper and does the same.
And a milk bottle instead of perfectly fine cycling bottle.
Guys, don’t take apart your chain, it reduces the strength. It’s easy to clean without doing this.
Bruh mine is dirtier than yours
My waxed chain never gets dirty and is virtually silent and smooth as silk. Highly recommend jumping over to Oz Cycle!
wo-er bo-el
After that you have to clean the bottle, it just adds up work man
Idk why im even watching this, i dont even have a bike!😢
Eddie the eagle strikes again!
dont forget lube chain few times after that deep clean
Soak it in Diesel for 24 hrs.
That's what I do with my Motorbike chain
And put your clean liquide in the nature !
Instructions unclear, my water has a funny taste now
My bike from fb marketplace is black… its like some poured 15,000 bottkes of greese
I don't trust any of these shorts anymore
Mine is worse it's all BLACK!
just put some diesel on the chain leave it for a few min, wash it clean with water.
When He accidentally fill that bottle with water to drink
Bleach 49p
Gasoline works just as good too
I bought an EMTB my chain rusted after a week should do something now
Just use washing up liquid, been doing it for years
Wiggle coming back 2025 for international trading of DHB? Pwease?
Just hot melt wax your chain
You’ll just ruin your rolls in your chain links please don’t do this.
Just spray the chain with GT85 / WD40 and wipe all excess off.
