  1. You unfortunate person! You don't like the taste of coffee? But who buys coffee in a supermarket? Straight ahead – a five-minute walk – is Mannheim city center. There you'll find the usual coffee bars that you'll find in every other city center in the world. Are you disappointed with the Technoseum in Mannheim? But who goes to the Technoseum in Mannheim? It's boring, everyone knows that! Only you don't. After all, you could have admired the first automobile ever built in Mannheim, just ten minutes away from your coffee supermarket, where it stands in the middle of a street – without a museum. All you had to do was read something. If you're interested in the history of technology in general, just drive to Sinsheim (40 minutes away). If you're interested in media technology and its history, then go to Karlsruhe (also 40 minutes away). But not to Mannheim! There is a very good theater there (Nationaltheater) and a very good art museum (Kunsthalle), but you would rather buy a coffee at the supermarket. Of course you can do that too. In Ludwigshafen (5 minutes away, on the other side of the Rhine) there is an excellent art museum, in Heidelberg you can see the Prinzhorn collection (unique in the world). But you spent the night somewhere in the Ried, read nothing and wanted to get a good coffee at the supermarket. Who wants that?
