Whenever I use my brakes, this cable comes undone. I’ve watched countless videos of disk brake management and they don’t seem to pop out like this. Any tips?

There is a good chance that the cable is stuck in the housing – that’s what happened to mine.
It turned out to be my first proper bit of maintenance (installing new brake cables and housing).
