My $50 rust bucket Ross Mt Whitney restoration

After/before pics. This thing was coated in surface rust. The inside of the frame also had a bit, but no cracks. Did quite a bit of scrubbing and soaking parts in evaporust. Treated the inside of the frame with rust inhibitor. The only real upgrade made was a 7 speed freewheel to the rusted out 6 speed that came on the bike. Fresh cables, housing, pads, chain along with some Crossroads tires I had laying around. Rebuilt the hubs, pedals and bottom bracket. As much as I'd love to throw a 1×11 on this bike, I just couldn't resist keeping it original as I possible with the least amount of added expenses. Pretty stoked with how it turned out. Even more stoked to shred this puppy around town.
