  1. Since you’re just starting out you might as well hop straight to the wheel and learn how to do them the proper way. You’re also not kicking the bike enough with your back foot to get it to rotate

    Try and stay over the Ike more. It’s also a lot more of an arm motion than you think

    kick first, then footjam

    so, while you are kicking the back your front foot should be crossing the toptube

    (footjam with your outer part of the foot touching the fork instead of the inner part like in your video, for better stability)

    If you still find this too challenging, practice some bunnyhop footjam first. To gain more control.
