Why do you think you were duped?
It’s a Trek Dual Sport. Not a bad bike, but it’s an entry level hybrid. Probably not something that anyone would go to the trouble to counterfeit.
If it fits you and isn’t damaged you can get a lot of miles out of it.
Looks like a [Trek Dual Sport 1 2019](https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/bikes/hybrid-bikes/dual-sport-bikes/dual-sport/dual-sport-1/p/23066/). Sometimes Dual Sport will be abriviated to DS.
