Slow runs only benefitial if u have many runs in a weekβ¦. Slow βzone 2β runs isnt that great for someone who doesnt have a weekly high milageβ¦.
Before I got sick with COVID, I was running well β around 5:30/km. After COVID, I was just happy with anything close to 6:00/km. Now, after a knee injury and five months without running, Iβm either at 6:55/km π
The message seems rather unclear, unless the point was to show bouncing boobs in neon green clothing. We understand such messages. We are cultured and well-raised, no?
The point being made here [by many coaches] is that, your long runs should be slow (er) at a pace where you can hold conversation unless you intentionally wanna do a long distance training run at Marathon pace. It is helpful.
