I recently looked through some used bikes, and this one caught my attention. Brand is Specialized Stumpjumper Fsr XL. Price is 1.150€. I don’t have much experience in bike parts, what’s good/bad so I’m asking you guys. Is this a good bike? Fair price? Here is the description of the seller (Its translated, sorry for any mistakes)

I would hold out for something newer.
For the price you should check modern all mountain hardails , the geometry would be better , and you would have higher end parts
I have this frame, shock and fork, model from 2014.
Same derailleurs too.
I bought it for 950€ five years ago and since then I upgraded: wheels, stem and handlebars.
I changed the headset (it broke) as well as dropper post (also broke).
I can tell you that the bike is heavy and short for modern day standards.
The cartridge in that FOX series forks is prone to breaking. The rear shock brain service is pricey and they abandoned the technology in newer versions.
All that being said: If you’re tight on a budget, I don’t recommend it.
HOWEVER: If you can lower the price to around 1k$, maybe a bit less, and service it with new parts where needed, the bike is going to love you as much you love it.
I don’t plan on selling mine, just yet.
It’s capable. It climbs and descends well. I do small jumps and drops, and I do long and steep climbs too. Bike works well.
If you don’t have better options, don’t worry, this one will serve you well if you take good care of it.
I would also suggest looking for something newer – where parts are more available and more serviceable.
Try looking for something without the PF bottom bracket as well as without any extensions to shock (in this case Specialized brain).
