I am getting incredibly lucky with fantastic parkrun weather in recent weeks!
This week I ventured to the country’s north west and to the wonderful Carlisle parkrun. Good-sized crowds here for the Easter weekend, and even some fancy dress! This was a lovely event and definitely a more challenging course than I expected.
If you’d like to see more data from the run, here is my Strava activity – https://www.strava.com/activities/14219915422

Hi Grant. I’m going to try to get to the Carlisle cafe today 🤞
Thank you for visiting yesterday, I was the funnel manager at the end when you collected your token. Glad you enjoyed it, sorry about the cafe being closed. Next time you are in Carlisle, I can recommend the best cafe in Carlisle, I Love Café 👍
Not done Stretford but done the others and look forward to seeing them again and I'll be doing Stretford myself soon. Bushy for 100 is special, you will be blown away by that one.
Excellent. Thanks for show casing Carlisle. It’s a fabulous event, our Park run. The local running club Denton Holme runners are really inclusive and a good way of getting involved.
I’ve commented on a couple of videos before, but just to say again how much I enjoy these videos – they’re really fun to watch!
Enjoy the videos, setup of them works really well. If you ever get to the East Mids, come and give Conkers a go.
Hi bud mice work as ever. Stretford is a definite PB course. Enjoy
I can’t believe you came here to my home event and I was at Blyth Links parkrun. lol
Hi Grant. If you’re back down near Sheffield, Rother valley park run would be a good option. Flat, fast and one lap and a decent cafe at the end.
another great video – love the format. Which are the ones you are planning to go to over next few weeks? (Also up north in Yorkshire so you do lots of ones I've done / want to do!)
