Hey y’all! I’ve had this bike since 2016. It’s been a fun one for little rides around town and took some getting used to with the tube shifters. But as I’m getting more serious into riding, longer distances, and getting older… I’m realizing the bike just isn’t a good fit for me. It’s a little too tall and I think it’s time for me to move on!
So, I thought I’d try to get some help here… I’ve read a ton about the history of Crescent online, but I’m noticing that I’m not seeing *any* with the curved top tube this one has. Is that a special marker? Anyone have any additional info? I recall at least once since I’ve owned it, looking it up, and did find some other curved ones, but seems to be a rarity. I’ve seen the curved top tube bikes online as well but I can’t for the life of me seem to find them now. Looks to be late 60’s/early 70’s vintage. They usually had mostly naked Swedes in their adverts.
