Without Remco the race would have been boring, Pog would have won easily, Remco tunred it into an amazing race

It was a bit more exciting on danish tv. We couldn't see who won and the commentators couldn't call the winner. We had to wait for the call 😃🇩🇰

While it's great to see a new winner in this day and age of MVP & the Pog winning everything, how about the piss-weak podium performance by Skjelmose and Evenepoel. It's the bloody Amstel Gold race so quite apart from disrespecting tradition by not drinking the ice cold Amstel Gold they were given on the podium, how about a little understanding of exactly who has supplied the moolah they have just won. The Pog, meanwhile, got stuck in and looked like he was ready for a sesh! Total respect to the Pog. Positive gestures and respect go a long, long way in this world!

Would have liked to have seen a bit more of the race in these highlights. Alaphilippe's break with Tadej, Tadej riding away etc etc.

Bravely done by the commentator here to call the result as they passed the line – other commentators hesitated much more.
Remco had to do too much work chasing down Pogi & then forced to lead out the sprint. Skjelmose rode a very smart race & didn't panic in the sprint. Pogi might be slightly overcooked after San Remo, Ronde & Roubaix, but Remco's return & fabulous form suggest an interesting battle at L-B-L. Would be great if all the big guns were there as well MVDP, WVA, MP & possibly others.
