I’ve wanted to cycle along a local road called the Kings Highway for some time. Join me as I head along the old railway trails to the Leeds and Liverpool canal and back home along the highway.
Cracking ride, Jon. Also had the odd ride where the Wahoo has gone off piste (vanishing route is the most common, or weird reroutes that go way off course); not often but when it happens I usually have to end the ride and load it up again. Enjoy the long weekend!
Hi Jon, don't know if you are aware but you can get to the Kings Highway up the side of the Grants pub in Accrington. The road takes you to a trail that eventually goes under the bypass then ride up to the top of the steep tarmac section. You can also extend the Kings Highway up to the haylo and past the top of the ski slope into Rawtenstall.
