Justin DeLoretto served as a chapter president of the Mongols Motorcycle Club for 15 years in Oregon, Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana. He also influenced the founding of one of the largest Australian chapters, which served as a base for expansion into Asia.

He discusses initiation, prospecting, getting a patch, and brotherhood within the club. He also covers the rivalry with the Hells Angels and the Outlaws and alignment with the Pagans. He dives into what it was like to be at parties and how “old ladies” are treated. He also covers corruption within the gang from former leaders, such as Ruben “Doc” Cavazos. He discusses Operation Black Rain and being pursued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

DeLoretto is now a social worker. He is the author of “The Ride of My Life” and hosts the podcast “Mondays with Mooch.”

  1. Stop dry snitching homie just because your pit of the game doesnt mesn u need to go around giving teasons for people u called brothers to be getting flak because your running your mouth

  2. All I hear from these stories is a bunch of dudes who never grew up, and can’t cope with being a normal part of society. I guess they think the only way to get respect is to intimidate people.
Do they actually think being a bully will get them respect? We don’t live with n high school

  3. alot of comments on here talking about not wanting to follow rules or trying to clown these guys for having club rules. structure brings discipline. YES not every member is going to follow the structure. it happens. but ive been around 1% & you guys really misinterpret these guys. no matter where you go in life , theres always rules. ive been stuck on the side of the road before & these guys were the ones to save my a$$. nice guys when they are respected but dont underestimate that. met alot of these guys that will give their shirt of their backs for someone in need.

  4. The hardest thing about being a bikie must be first: remembering all the rules & Second: abiding by them. You need to carry an encyclopedia just to remain in good standing.

  5. 16:04 I don't have a lot of respect for people who deliberately do bad things to others who don't deserve it. Say bystanders these 1%ers try to intimidate or people they involuntarily involve in crime. But I do have massive respect for current and former criminals who'll turn away young "kids" who "have a lot goin' for them and have a future." The fact you recognize that and don't totally extort the young guys with potential shows you have a good in you.

  6. motorcycles are awesome machines. people who get them to abuse people and play with earth like a toy are all too common. macho+money = crappy humans. just like any militaryish bully crap… heros dont take orders, they act on morals. members of macho organizations are sheep holding hands. week people are excited to show power. strong people love calm and peace
