With sunshine I the forecast, I headed down to the far end of the country to visit a friend and poke about the landscape…

  1. Cornwall is so beautiful!!! 😍 Went there many years ago for a one week yoga retreat. Now you make me want to go back for cycling. 🥰
Editing: OMG, you're in Mousehole! 🤩 I stayed there, such a lovely little town! And that brutal climb was our way up to our Yoga class every morning. Aah, fond memories!…
Thank you so much for sharing, that made my day. 😊💕

  2. I was irrationally excited to find Carn Euny is shown on my OS Historical Map of Ancient Britain (near Newlyn, right?).

Also, the only time I ever see an adder is when I open the calculator on my phone 👀

  3. Great video kit. Looks so interesting….This weekend me and my partner are going to ride the Bristol triple Brunel ride…. Can’t wait. 🎉😃👍🏻🚵🏻

  4. I was down in Cornwall for a winter walking escape a couple of years ago. Watching the video I was thinking "this would be lovely on a bike"- until I ran into the hill out of Mousehole. And then at 10:30– "yep, that's the one"!

Cornwall is actually quite lovely in the winter, but the spring looks quite a bit better! And doing some exploring is always better when there's a pasty shop almost literally around every corner. Makes refueling easy. Thanks again for the journey.

  5. Never actually seen an adder or a tick! but did stumble on a slow worm in the forest,it’s was just beside the fire road being rather slow tbh 🤗but very rare to see one 😀

  6. 2:43 see that rock in front of your finger , that typifies the seaside , my mom lived a stonesthrow from there used to go for holidays there saw the eclipse in 98 there lovely place

  7. Hi Kit – no need to apologise to me at all, I was delighted to see you. I was picking up tickets for an adventure with my bike, inspired by YouTubers just like you. Love the Cornish Mystery History tour, thank you.

  8. Another great video Kit 👏👏 thank you. I have sailed into Newlyn and Mousehole, they have a great festival of sail at the latter next year, worth a visit. I too am aiming to get the West Kernow way ticked off next year hopefully. I should do it as i live just outside Totnes. Looking forward to the next video 👍

  9. Actually sat and watched this one and the severn bridge while eating lunch after a wet 100km spin, normally listen to them while walking the dag 🐕 great to actually see you enjoying your adventures 😎❤️
