Side question: have any of yall ever run double straps cageless? I’ve seen it once on a locked up courier rig but have never talked with anyone about it

I run mine like that on the MKS Urban Platform pedal, never had any issues. I also have the same straps too, great choice!

Looking good, I just have the rear-strap go behind the spindle „under“ the screws. Not fixed in place but working perfectly
get longer screws and you can put the other strap under those
If you have longer screws for the toe clips they can hold the second strap in place. That’s what I’m planning to do with some mks Urban Platforms. It works well but the criss cross method Is also very cool
