Hello all, new to BMX and would like to get a basic bike and try out. Saw this locally and is going for approx UD$130 (I'm from Malaysia)
Is this bike legit and is it worth it (condition, brand wise)
Is it good for beginners?

I’d look elsewhere bub, that bike doesn’t have any sealed part from what I can see and is probably 15 years old. Say you buy that and really get into BMX you aren’t going to want this.
Eastern used to be a really good company back in the early 00s. Not sure about them now, looks like you can buy a brand new one of these for $300. I don’t think it’s a great pick up. I also don’t know how hard it is to get a decent bike in Malaysia.

Yeah the bike might not have been maintained the best but it is a eastern bike and as stated before one of the best bike company’s around, I beleive you will not find much better than this for the price if you are not going with brand new I would go with this bike as you might be able to find one slightly better if you keep looking for a used bike but that eastern has everything your looking for even sealed bearings. Check the crank to see if it is bent , check the rims to see if those are bent, ride the bike before you buy is see if it rides good, makes any unexpected noises jiggle the headset and see if that’s loose at all but overall good bike in my eyes
