They are removable but to keep the rack you’d still have to keep the connector to the fender bridge on it. And you’d obviously need to disconnect the rear light cable.
You’d get such a perfectly made to fit mudguard with a great visibility light, it has a fricking rack incorporated and you want to get rid of it ?

Everything is removable if you try hard enough.
