Looking to pickup my first road bike to ride on mostly flat roads doing 100-200km per week. Found this Specialized Venge posted for $570 USD.
– Does the bike seem reasonable?
– Is the bike good for the type of riding I'm looking to do?
– Is it priced well?

That is a reasonable price. It was a [2012 Venge Pro Mid compact](https://www.specialized.com/us/en/venge-pro-mid-compact/p/35204?color=78305-35204) that has had some rather significant parts swaps/downgrades. Orignally the bike had areo wheels and mostly Dura Ace parts. The carbon areo rims were swapped for a set of aluminum climbing wheels. For an aero bike this is a significant downgrade. It appears that some or all of the drivetrain has been replaced with 105 10 speed.
It is an agressive areo bike. Worth a test ride but might not be the best first road bike.
