Just completed (for now) refreshing this Raleigh Max Ogre 21 to use as a train station commuter bike. Bought for £10 I serviced wheel bearings, new tires, chain and free wheel, new chrome handle bars and pedals and lots of cleaning. Annoyingly the nice quill stem I bought doesn’t fit due to a seemingly rare 21.1 diameter rather than 22.2. Do we reckon I can sell it for more than the £120 I put in to fund another, potentially nicer build?

these frames are heavy as sin but make up for it with their bombproof nature. I have one and never understood why their welds look the way they do.
£10 is a steal, I just picked up a pretty trashed Raleigh as a pub bike and I paid over £100!
