  1. Definitely the davinci, but there’s much better options on FB marketplace in Portland. None of these are good deals, and the last one is just straight up ridiculous

  2. Second maybe, the others are too old for the price. Check fb marketplace or pinkbike. Look for 2020 and newer with a 1×12 drivetrain.

  3. They’re all ridiculously over priced. Even the Scott. The Scott is the nicest by miles and I wouldn’t give more than $1000 for it.

The specs are good but it’s 10 years old and used. We have no idea the mileage, service intervals, or what components are still in good condition. Bikes do not hold value, especially ones from 2015.

  4. You shouldn’t even be considering that Trek remedy, that guy is out of his mind thinking that’s worth anymore than about $500. I mean over $1,700 for an outdated 13 year old bike, holy shit.

My guy go look at the prices you can get on NEW bikes right now. Used will offer better potential value, but if you are willing to spend 1100-1800, these bikes aren’t the way to do it.

  6. Prices are shockingly high but if i had to pick one it would have to be the scott, offer no more than 1000$ for it

  7. Unless you’re looking for a retro bike, then none at those prices. It’s easy to upgrade components, but geometry is almost impossible to fix

I got my 2022 Carbon Scott Ransom on sale at Evo as a former demo bike, (did a very close inspection) for 1400$

Scott for $1000 or look for something newer, other 2 aren’t even worth considering.

Offer $700 on that Scott! And that’s a good deal. Other than that they’re all just overpriced

  11. Yeah, I picked up an Ibis Ripley V4 for $1000 in near mint condition. I’d keep looking.

Look for bikes 2018 or newer (just for the sake of age of components and modern geometry)

I’ve been regularly seeing bikes only a few years old for $1,500 (Trek Slash, Ibis Ripmo, etc.)

This is the BEST MTB market for buyers I’ve seen in the 15 years I’ve been riding. You should be able to score a deal.

  13. IMO the Scott is the best but I’d have trouble with the price. It’s a cool bike, but worth maybe half that or a little more.
