Both. I live in a european city with great cycling infrastructure. So no weaving through traffic and a lot of traffic lights specific to bikes. Isn’t too much fun, even less on a road bike (that sounds too negative. It’s great, it’s safe, everyone rides their bike. I want it that way. It’s just not really fun ig). So fixed for city because at least the bike is fun. For long distances I vastly prefer my road bike though. There’s a reason most people have gears. But fixed just looks better
