Hi internet

I'm unsure which size to choose when buying a Grizl AL. I'm 186 cm tall with an 84 cm inseam, according to Canyon's sizing guide. I'm just inside the size L range, but considering my relatively short legs, I'd probably fit an M if I were slightly shorter. I've read in several places that Canyon sizes tend to run a bit large. Would you recommend I go for size M or L?

It appears you are looking for bike fitting help. Please make sure you post as screenshot of the Canyon size chart for your bike, with your point in it. See [this example](https://imgur.com/a/ALUfXyy)

Not sure if the fit would be different, between the two bikes. It’s easier to make a small bike bigger than a bike that’s too big smaller.

  3. I got a Grizl in M – 184cm tall and 82cm inseam. The reach is quiet long so I would recommend taking the M Size.

  4. It’s a pretty convincing ‘L’ according to Canyon’s site..

    ..therefore, go with ‘M’.

I have a similar build and Ride an older endurace in M with a longer stem and it works reasonably well. Honestly: The geo chart says it’s about 20mm difference. A different stem and it‘ll be Fine if it feels Short and if that’s Not enough maybe a different bar, but there is plenty of room there to make it fit. I‘d say go for the M

I am 186 and 85 inseam, went with a L, and now, if I had to do it again, I would pick a M…

Canyon is a brand I always insist on sizing down, they run crazy big compared to the market for the letter sizing.

  8. I just got my Grizl. 189 cm, 95,5 cm inseam. As my legs are long compared to my torso, the reach for XL was too long. So I went for L.

I don’t really trust Canyons size table. But I think I‘d go for M. It’s always easier to enlarge a bike than making it smaller.

It seems there’s a strong consensus for me to choose M. Thank you all for your help!
