Trek Remedy 7 good for light DH Mtb?

I just picked up a trek remedy 7 off of Facebook and it works great for easy trails and riding around stairs and doing wheelies/some light tricks, but I’d really like to take it down hill (just light trail I’m not skilled enough to do really technical trails). It has a couple upgrades to it, a rock shock lyric suspension, new headset, a dropper post, and a carbon rim. I’d just like to get another opinion, thanks!
